The day usually dawn
with hatred..
Ten of my brothers and sisters
had their own wishes..
when an iota of indifference or frustration
fallen on them they usually
tumble on me like mounting of wagons
during an accident of a goods train..

That was the chisel that shaped me.
That was the teacher who taught me..
That was the tailor who dressed me
That was the I still coming out of me..

I was hanging on a thread for a bread
I was walking on a rope for a lesson
I was living on a bush full of thorns
and that was that..

Now people are praising me
focusing the moon light on me..
My brothers and sisters arefighting between them in praise of me..

When i enter into the house
all are standing like the
audience including the judge
who had risen up when accused Mahathma
entered the court room
during freedom struggle..

But i require only love and affection
I require a place on a remote corner
of my house where i could sleep..
I require a dawn without any dust..
and let me brush my teeth with fondness
Before a cup of coffee...
